new quilt

Ive had Holly here for almost 2 months.......today she flew back to Toronto.  How I'm gonna miss her, I'm feeling a little lost at the moment.....:(

I want to share a picture of a quilt that I made late last year.

Its a pattern that was in Homespun a couple of months ago.....the basics of the quilt is the centre applique and then a jelly roll is used for the fence and rail blocks. 
Its a Kookaburra Cottage pattern.

I've finished the Dolly and Me quilt just have two small dolls to make....its now been handed over to Jenn to quilt.  Looking forward to seeing the end result.

My sewing group is having its first sewing day for the year on Sunday....our project is a doll. Looking forward to sewing and to catching up with the girls.

On Saturday I'm going to a family friends wedding.......

Fellowship quilt....

A new range of fabric had arrived.....I fell instantly in love with it.......Fellowship. The latest homespun came out and there was a pattern by Kookaburra Cottage featured.....I just knew the two would go together perfectly.  Ovedr the past couple of weeks I have put together this quilt......

 

 

The centre is appliqued......then I've used a jelly roll for the post and rail feature......a tone on tone border, finished with 2 1/2 inch squares which I mostly cut from a charm pack.

 

I'm so please with it, cant wait to have it quilted.

 

NOW....do I go back and finish off something I have already started....or do I find a new project.......decisions!!!!
